This course is aimed exclusively at RapidWeaver users wanting to start selling online, and with every popular eCommerce solution covered you’ll learn how to setup an amazing online store.
Lesson 1
Run Time 09:32
Your customers need to know they can securely purchase from you, safe in the knowledge their personal details are being kept private. So in this lesson you’ll learn how to add your domain name to CloudFlare and update the DNS records with your domain name registrar. Adding your site to CloudFlare will allow us to easily add SSL, meaning your site can be served over HTTPS.
Lesson 2
Run Time 28:45
If you want to start accepting payments in a matter of minutes, then PayPal is a great option. In this lesson you’ll learn how to quickly add a secure shopping cart, with advanced features like discounts and shipping costs, to your RapidWeaver site. No hassle, no fuss, just PayPal payments made easy.
Lesson 3
Run Time 22:55
Selling digital products can be tricky. Where do you host the content and how do you deliver it to your customers? One option is to use Paddle as they’ll handle everything from licence generate, to collecting the appropriate taxes for you. In this lesson you’ll learn how to replicate the Realmac Software store inside of your RapidWeaver site, all with a modern, user friendly payment process.
Lesson 4
Run Time 21:50
Another option for selling digital products is GumRoad, so in this lesson you’ll learn how to sell eBooks via GumRoad. You’ll learn all the different ways you can integrate a GumRoad shopping cart and payment process on to your RapidWeaver page.
Lesson 5
Run Time 38:22
Got a project that needs funding, or needing to take donations for a charity? In this lesson we’ll build a fundraising page, where users can pledge money via an integrated Stripe checkout process. Our page will also display the live project status, meaning visitors can see the project's progress updated in real-time.
Lesson 6
Run Time 13:59
If you run a large business, or just need a more advanced solution then you should consider RapidCart Pro. In this lesson you’ll learn some of the basics of RapidCart Pro and setup a few important details on your store in preparation for the rest of this course.
Lesson 7
Run Time 06:00
RapidCart Pro integrates with a number of payment options such payment on delivery, PayPal, Mollie, credit card payments via Stripe, and more. In this lesson you’ll learn how to customise which payment options you want to enable on your store.
Lesson 8
Run Time 07:40
In this lesson we’ll use the built in customisation options builtin to RapidCart Pro to improve the look and feel of our new store.
Lesson 9
Run Time 24:24
The standard product information pages that are provided by RapidCart Pro and perfectly functional, but we want to takes things a step further and create a completely custom layout using Stacks. In this lesson you’ll learn how to do exactly that, and integration our new custom product pages directly in to our RapidCart Pro store.
Lesson 10
Run Time 17:04
In a similar fashion to how we built the custom product pages, we’ll use Stacks again to build a custom page for each one of our main product categories. This gives us flexibility to create a unique layout for our product listings, as well as adding any other stacks and content we wish.
Lesson 11
Run Time 10:23
In this lesson you’ll learn how to build a custom homepage using Stacks that lists out all your store categories, handy if you want complete control over the layout of your products rather than replying on RapidCart Pro’s built in pages.
Lesson 12
Run Time 22:50
In this lesson we’ll look at how to create reusable site-wide content using Stacks’ Partials feature. Using Partials we’ll add a site-wide footer which will include an interactive Google Map.
Lesson 13
Run Time 16:12
Once again, in a similar fashion to how we built the custom product and category pages, we can even use Stacks to build a custom RapidCart Pro store page. This also gives us the convenience of RapidCart Pro’s built-in product listing features alongside the flexibility of Stacks. Combining the two allows us to build a powerful store homepage. We’ll also look at some advanced ways to customise the entire look of our RapidCart Pro store.
Lesson 14
Run Time 24:06
If you’re running a serious business online, your store will need the ability to offer discounts, optionally add costs (such as a card processing fee), and setup multiple shipping options for your customers. In this lesson you’ll learn exactly how to do that as we discover the powerful options available in RapidCart Pro.
Lesson 15
Run Time 12:58
There are times when you’ll want to be able to promote certain products across your entire store — an end of season sale for example, or perhaps the latest fashion item added to your catalog. In this lesson you’ll learn how to promote products across your entire store, and optionally add promotional discounts to those products. Also, in this final lesson, you’ll learn how to use RapidCart Pro’s webhook feature with Zapier to automate the process of adding your customer’s email addresses to a newsletter list in MailChimp.
